Papatouille (EN/FR)
A downloadable game
John is an absolute layman. He knows nothing about religion. He is also not particularly bright, or skilled in any notable way. John is just a regular guy.
Somehow, on a vacation to Rome, John was elected Pope. Don't ask why. He's not sure either.
Luckily for Pope John XXIV, he can have faith that the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit will guide his every move... By hiding in his mitre and pulling his hair. See, two rats and a pigeon happened to be hiding in the mitre when it was pulled out of storage, and when you've lived all your life in the gutters of the Vatican, you learn a thing or two about acting like a Pope. And so, they help him out.
Unfortunately for Pope John XXIV, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit each have their own secret agenda. Such is the treacherous political world of the Holy See.

Hello, may I ask who the artist is for the mouse art in your game?
It's a quick collage I made of two public domain engravings I found on WikiCommons (great source for this type of art, by the way!): The rat is a 1808 engraving by William Samuel Howitt, while the hat is by an unnamed artist and taken from a 1908 dictionary. I'm surprised how well they ended up fitting together!
lovely, thank you very much!
I was already finding this game very good… And then realized I forgot to read its second page, which elevates it even further!
A success on all counts, including title and illustration ;)
Better than a Dan Brown novel!
